GRANT CONCESSION BY REVENUE GENERATING AGENCIES

Preamble
It has come to my attention that certain revenue generating agencies grant concessions on payments without reference to my office.

Order
By the authority invested in me as Governor under and by virtue of the 1999 Constitution, I hereby reaffirm that no concession may be granted by any collecting agency without my prior approval. The power to grant concession on any payment due to Government and collectable by any revenue generating agency can only be exercised by the Executive Governor of Lagos State.

This order is intended to improve the internal management of the State Government and is not intended to, and does not create any rights or benefits, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by a party against Lagos State, its departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, agents, or any other person.
